Biscotti Mornings LA first started in the small town of Minden, Nevada, where my mom began baking and selling her homemade biscotti at local farmers markets and events. What began as a passion project quickly grew into a beloved local favorite — and I had the joy of helping with the marketing side along the way.
As the business picked up, my mom decided she was ready to slow things down. That’s when the idea sparked: why not bring Biscotti Mornings to Los Angeles?
So here I am — continuing the tradition of small-batch, handmade biscotti straight from the home kitchen, now serving a new community. Same recipes, same love, just a new city.

Meet the Baker
Hi, I’m Bobby Chavarrae — founder of Biscotti Mornings LA, baker, and proud veteran.
I grew up in the Tahoe area, where my mom’s kitchen was always filled with the smell of fresh biscotti. She started Biscotti Mornings in Minden, Nevada, baking from home and sharing her creations at local markets. I helped her on the side with branding and marketing — never expecting that one day, I’d carry her recipes to a whole new city.
After serving in the Army for seven years, I pursued a career in design, eventually working as a creative project manager. Life has a funny way of revealing the right path when you least expect it, and when the opportunity came to bring Biscotti Mornings to Los Angeles, I decided to go all in.
Now, I bake small-batch biscotti from my home kitchen here in LA — using the same recipes my mom built her business on. Biscotti Mornings LA is Veteran owned and creatively fueled, and I’m honored to continue this story with every fresh-baked batch.
